What To Bring

After Donating Plasma
Wait 2 days to donate plasma again.
Continue to drink plenty of water.
Continue to eat foods rich in protein and iron.
Avoid smoking for 30 minutes and alcohol for 4 hours after donation.
Avoid strenuous exercise immediately after donating.
How to Track Payments After Donating Plasma:
- Payments after plasma donations are issued on a prepaid debit card within 24 hours of your donation.
- Keep track of your payments easily using OctaApp.

Yes. All equipment is sterile and single-use. Our staff are trained to ensure donor safety.
How often can I donate plasma?
Up to twice in a 7-day period, with at least 48 hours between donations.
What if I’ve been deferred before?
Deferral reasons vary, but it is best to speak with a staff member at your local center if you have any concerns. Contact your local center for guidance.
How do I know if I’m eligible today?
Please speak with a donor advocate by calling your local donation center to confirm eligibility.
